How it works
You don't need to know how to code. An AI assistant does the building. promptbai gives it a good, tested recipe to follow so the result is something you'll actually want to use.
- 1
Find something you want
Browse the categories or search. Every recipe tells you what you'll get, what you need, and how much AI work it takes (its token use).
- 2
Press Get and copy one sentence
The sentence tells your AI where to find the full recipe. It reads all the details itself.
- 3
Paste it into your AI assistant
It may ask you a few simple questions, like what to call it or which colors you like. When it's done, it tells you how to open your new app.
What's an "AI agent"?
It's an AI assistant that can create files and folders on your computer, not just chat. Some popular ones:
- Claude: the Code tab in the Claude desktop app, or Claude Code.
- Codex: from OpenAI, available in the ChatGPT and Codex apps.
- Cursor or Windsurf: code editors with an AI agent built in.
Using a plain chat assistant? That works too for recipes marked Easy. It will give you the files and tell you how to save them.
What does "token use" mean?
Tokens are how AI assistants measure work: roughly, the words they read and write. A recipe with Low token use (under about 100k tokens) is quick and fits easily in most plans. Medium is about 100k–250k, and High is more than that. If you pay per use, more tokens cost more; on a subscription, they use more of your limit.
Is it safe? Where does my data go?
Most recipes make apps that run entirely on your own computer, in your web browser, with no account and nothing sent anywhere. Each recipe says what it needs. When a recipe does need an online service, it tells you before you start.
What if a recipe gets better?
Recipes have version numbers and a history of what changed. The AI saves a small note in your project saying which recipe and version it used. Later you can open the recipe page, copy the Already built it? sentence, and your AI will check for improvements and add them, keeping your data.
